This is Labor Day weekend.  Even though school just started here, it’s the perfect time for a three day weekend.  The first week is always hectic and a nice break is very welcome for those of us that work in the schools.  It may not seem like much since we had the whole summer off but it not only helps us to ease back into our routines but also helps the kids to do the same.  Hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day weekend and enjoys the celebration of the end of summer.  That’s what it amounts to after all.

As many of you know who have read my blog, my family goes to London quite a bit to visit friends or go to our vacation home in Ireland.  When we do go to London, one thing we love to do is go to concerts or other music type shows while there.  Sometimes it’s hard to get tickets to some of these events but we have found a way to find those hard to find tickets.

Tickets sell out quickly when someone appears there that hasn’t toured in quite awhile so with visiting this site, we have a pretty good chance of getting tickets after all.  We always check to see who is in concert before we plan our trip so we can go ahead and reserve tickets.  That’s always one of the highlights of our trip.  Some performers aren’t coming anywhere near us at home so that’s the perfect opportunity to get to see them.  So if you’re planning a trip to London and want to see a concert, check with this site and you just might find tickets so you can get to see them perform after all.

Boy and I glad I wasn’t on that airplane over France the other day. Do you remember when you were a kid (and if you have kids of your own you have probably even said this to them) before you would go out somewhere your mother always had to make sure you had on clean underwear?  “What if you are involved in an accident, you sure wouldn’t want to have on dirty underwear would you?” was what most mothers said and I too am guilty of saying that to my own children.

Well after plunging 26,000 feet in just five minutes in an air plane over France, I’m pretty sure there were probably some people that no longer had on clean underwear.  Oh they might have started out that way but after that fast a drop and the air masks came out too, I think it would be safe to say some people probably had on soiled underwear at that point.  I would have been one of them it I had been on that plane.  Luckily no one was seriously injured but there were up to 26 people hospitalized. That would have scared the ever living daylights out of me.

Auto air conditioning is one thing we take for granted until it goes out.  Well Tyler’s went out yesterday on the way home from school.  It was hot and he was soaked by the time he got home from sweat.  We think his AC Compressor went out.  Joe found an auto a/c compressor online.  There’s no shipping and it comes with a warranty.  Tyler will sure be glad when we get it and fix his car.

I grew up in the 70’s.  No I don’t have Sirius Radio in my car but I do have it on my satalite TV.  I found the Totally 70’s station and I don’t watch TV anymore, I listen to it.  I especially love it when they play a selection from the ‘Juke Box From Hell’ and then play something like ‘Dead skunk in the middle of the road’.  I find myself dancing around the house like I used to years ago.  I LOVE IT!
